Autorenporträt
Dr. Debashis Patra is a widely acclaimed Tribal writer in Odia language. He is the author of thirty four books about tribal culture, literary criticism, fiction and collections of contemporary poetry including Mudulipada Ra Loke, Kichi Katha Kichi Byatha, Dhola O Anyanya Galpa and Sabda Sangam and received many awards. His works on tribal communities explore their culture, language, literature, socio-economic status and the impact of modernization on their societies. He received his D.Litt. degree for his work on tribals of South Odisha from Utkal University. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor in Odia at FM University, Balasore.
