Autorenporträt
Lindy developed an interest in Jane Austen and all things related to her genteel world a few short years ago and that interest soon blossomed into love. That love has spilled over into various Regency Era-related topics including the research of holidays of the era, their origins, how they were celebrated and how they appear in Jane Austen's novels and personal letters. A member of the Jane Austen Society of North America, Lindy has spoken to a variety of groups and has taught Continuing and Adult Professional Education classes on Regency Era holidays at Southern Methodist University (SMU). A graduate of Abilene Christian University, Lindy lives in Plano, Texas and works for an area convention and visitors bureau assisting visitors to and residents of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. As hobbies, Lindy enjoys writing, reading an engaging novel or cross stitching delicate patterns - Jane Austen-related (of course) and otherwise. Jane Austen Celebrates is Lindy's first book with a second book, a novel, currently in the works.
