Autorenporträt
A well-known name in Odia literature, Yashodhara Mishra has published 15 books including short stories, novels, poems and translated works. Translated into most Indian and a few foreign languages, some of her works are placed in significant literary anthologies. She has received the Odisha Sahitya Akademi Award, Katha Award ( New Delhi), Odisha Book Fair Award and Amrutayana Samman among many others. A Ph.D. in American Literature, she has been a Professor of English in Madhya Pradesh. She is the first woman to be the Editor of Indian Literature, the English journal published by Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, the premier Indian Academy of Letters.
