Jani turm (born 20 March 1982 in Brda) is a Slovenian footballer, currently playing as a striker for 2. SNL side Drava Ptuj. turm began his career with NK Brda, he was then scouted in 1999 by ND Gorica, he played one year for the youth side and joined returned to his hometown club NK Brda on loan. After the loan spell with NK Brda, he returned to ND Gorica and played his first games in 2001 in the Slovenian PrvaLiga. In the summer of 2005, turm was due to sign for Leicester City, but the move fell through after he failed a medical on his long-standing groin injury. In July 2007, turm began a two-week trial with Dundee United before beginning a trial spell with Greenock Morton. On 1 August 2007, he signed for Dundee in a one year deal with the option of a second year, rejecting apparent interest from Morton, St Johnstone, Gretna and Dunfermline Athletic.
