Jason Willis Betts (born October 4, 1977) is a singer, songwriter, actor and now teacher. Betts has won numerous awards for his acting career including the Atlantic Film Festival, Moonsnail for Best Male Actor in 1997 for his role in Terminal Lunch as Red Braid and many other awards won from festivals in his home province of New Brunswick. Betts was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada to a father who taught music and to a mother who taught art. He is the lead vocalist for a band named Zwerg. He had gotten his stage name, Eldon Thiele, from his two deceased grandfathers, Eldon R. Betts Sr. and John L. Thiele Sr. Betts most successful song to date is "To Stand, Kneel", which he made into a video and directed and edited himself.
