Diane Davies es una mujer que ha sobrevivido al cáncer de mama, profesora de primaria durante veintiséis años y supervisora de estudiantes de magisterio en la Universidad de Wisconsin River Falls. También es esposa, madre y abuela que vive con su marido, Butch, cerca de Hastings, Minnesota, en el río St. Croix, con vistas a Wisconsin.
