Jeremy Lee Renner, born on January 7, 1971, in Modesto, California, is an American actor whose journey from a small-town upbringing to Hollywood stardom is nothing short of remarkable. Born to Valerie Cearley (née Tague) and Lee Renner, Jeremy grew up in a family that would eventually expand to include seven siblings, with him being the eldest. His father managed McHenry Bowl, a local bowling alley, while his mother worked various jobs. Jeremy's parents married young and divorced when he was just ten years old. Growing up in Modesto, Jeremy attended Fred C. Beyer High School, graduating in 1989. After high school, he enrolled at Modesto Junior College, initially studying computer science and criminology. However, it was a drama class taken as an elective that ignited his passion for acting. Little did he know then that this decision would set him on a path to becoming one of Hollywood's most versatile actors.
