Professor Sriprasad Mohanty is a medical practitioner, teacher in a Medical College, involved in epidemic management and medical research and also interested in literature. He has published six short story collections, three poetry collections, one novel and one collection of mini-stories so far. Critics and well-wishers were shocked when Sriprasad stopped writing after initial success. They encouraged and revived the writer. This one is his first short story collection and shows how original he is in theme and style.
