Satisfaction can have an influence on the worker, affecting their physical and mental health, their professional and social behavior and having repercussions on the individual's personal and professional life. With so many changes in the health sector, it is important to understand whether nurses are satisfied in the exercise of their professional activity. This is an observational, analytical and cross-sectional study using quantitative methodologies, applied to 41 perioperative nurses working at the ULSNE, with the aim of assessing their perception of satisfaction with their work. The data collection instrument consisted of questions relating to sociodemographic and professional characterization, and the Job Satisfaction Scale (EST) by Ribeiro (2002).
