B. A. Jones was born in Wales to an English father and a Welsh mother. She spent many of her younger years pursuing her love of travel as a way of fulfilling her interest in other cultures. She finally settled in France, where she currently lives. Her first goal in life was to become a writer, but a busy career left her little time to realise her ambition. It is Wales, with its legends, myths and historical struggles against injustice and poverty, that inspired her to write her book - but the story it tells has no frontiers.
