Autor

R. Warren James (1916-2004) was a graduate of the University of Toronto and of the University of Chicago. He was employed as a civil servant in various government departments in Ottawa. He was appointed Chief Secretary of the Department of National Defence in 1961. John Rae (1813-1893) was an expert doctor and outdoorsman known for surveying parts of the Canadian Arctic while searching for the Northwest Passage, and for his 1854 reports on the Franklin Expedition's fate.
