Autorenporträt
E. Lawrence Abel is a distinguished faculty professor and an emeritus professor at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. A member of the Michigan Civil War Round Table, the Surratt Society, and the National Museum of Civil War Medicine, he is also the author of more than forty scholarly and trade books and more than two hundred peer-reviewed articles and trade magazine articles. Abel has appeared on many radio and television shows, including The Late Late Show with Tom Snyder and To Tell the Truth. In April 2015, he spoke at the U.S. National Archives on the Lincoln assassination.
