The author is a retired educator who has worked in the field of education for over 44 years. She holds bachelor, master and doctorate degrees in education. She has always had a desire to write children's books. She enjoys writing as a way of expressing her feelings and ideas. Her life's work has been dedicated to the education of children. Teaching children to read fluently and to develop a love for reading is her passion. One of her beliefs is that reading is not just reading and calling words, but engaging in the print to create imagery and peak the reader's imagination so that the story explodes off the page and causes the reader to have the same adventures as the characters in the book.
