In this book, both the design and the evaluation of an OFDM baseband transceiver are demonstrated to efficiently combat the carrier frequency offset (CFO) and the channel distortion over the multipath frequency-selective fading channel. A joint carrier synchronization and channel equalization algorithm is presented for the OFDM baseband receiver in the tracking stage. Besides, a CORDIC-based Inner Receiver VLSI architecture is illustrated to effectively realize the OFDM Receiver with joint algorithm.
