Every student new to the college must take a class in 'Orientation' on his first semester at the college. In the 'Orientation Class', the new student will be introduced to the college and what the college can provide. The students are encouraged to choose their major and classes wisely, and use all the facilities and resources productively. The journal 'Jonathan's Venture' is an orientation to introduce the reader to the mechanics of non-organic autonomy, the mechanics of bio-organic autonomy, and the mechanics of social autonomy. This journal will give only a brief perspective on these subjects. Hypotheses and speculations to it will be brought up in different places on the journal to encourage the reader to search further on the subject(s) that bring interest to the mind. The reader is encouraged to prove the speculations and share what he has found.
Autorenporträt
Wai Kit Chiang has written several materials. He completed a report for each conference he participated in the U.N. in 2006 as a voluntary delegate of CISRI-ISP. He provided the thesis, "Computers in the Mathematics Curriculum for Sixth Grade Students", for Elementary Education in the City College of the City University of New York (CCNY). Wai Kit Chiang published "Jonathan's Venture" in 2012 at Xlibris (Jonathan's Venture. Xlibris. Copyright©2012). He logs his personal experiences relating them to general perspectives of reality. He presents his loggings abstractedly through science fiction as done in "Jonathan's Venture". His logs pertained to his experiences as a mechanical tech, a computer tech, a military trainee, an educator, and an assistant to a diplomat. He was born with blood deficiency. During his early puberty years, he was struck in the head resulting in his seizure disorder. He has visual deficiency, hearing deficiency, and thin bones also. Even with all these difficulties, he carries on. Similar to "Jonathan's Venture", he assimilates to a captain and his damaged but functional vessel that carries on with limits. His situations have been logged as perceived and experienced.
