Being the new kid in town can be challenging in many ways: Especially when you're a little different. Let's face it, kids can be, well . . . not so nice. In this book for young readers, Josephine's character serves as a beautiful example for both kids and adults, and reminds us that no one should ever Judge a book by its cover.

Autorenporträt
Signe Rain Boutch was raised in Fairhope, Alabama. Fairhope was once a small town across the bay from Mobile, but over the years the city has grown exceedingly. When Signe turned 18, she decided to spread her wings and fly . . . ending up in Colorado Springs, where she met her husband. They married in 2015 and now have three busy boys. Signe is a stay-at-home mother and inspires to be the best "wife and mom" that she can be while making her home a happy one; one that exudes love and light. Josephine's First Day of School is Signe's first picture book. It was inspired by her 12th grade English teacher coupled with some of her own experiences when she was bullied as well.
