Colleen McGarr resides in Plainfield, Il. with her son and daughter. She has been a school nurse for over 10 years. She enjoys writing, painting, and rescues animals. Since taking care of thousands of students during her career, Colleen wanted to write a children's book. She got the idea of writing her own book to teach students about building trust, friendship, courage, and leadership.
