Autorenporträt
Jayne M. Heller-Leh has a Ph.D. in Special Education and spent decades helping young children succeed in school in various ways. At the university, she prepares pre-service teachers in areas of trauma, mathematics teaching, diversity, and childhood trauma. She has training in cognitive processes, chaplaincy work with children, and trauma response to support children in situations of community disasters. Dr. Leh believes that all who work with children should be aware of teaching self-regulation and skills toward resilience and help children cope during traumatic circumstances and most importantly, heal from trauma.
