Jive Lubbungu was born in 1976 in Choma, Zambia. He completed secondary education at Chipepo Secondary school in Gwembe and obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Education (B.A.Ed) degree and a Master of Arts Degree in Literature (MA.Lit) at the University of Zambia. He is a teacher and Head of Languages Department at Choma Day Secondary school.
