About The Author James Cools Chambers was born on May 14, 1930, in Roseau, the capital of Dominica, West Indies (W.I.), to the proud parents of Archibald and Margaret (Williams) Chambers. He is the youngest of seven siblings. At an early age, his family moved to another island called Montserrat, W.I. There he attended a Methodist School and later became a master carpenter making furnishings from trees in his carpentry shop. As a young man, James relocated to England where he resided for about five years. In 1963, he came to America where he lived in the New York area. After some years, he became a father for the first time to his only son. Life has a way of bringing many experiences into one's life; and he eventually journeyed to South Florida where he now resides. James is the proud grandfather of two grandchildren, one grandson and one granddaughter, and has many extended relatives and friends, all of whom he loves dearly. James, an avid reader, has studied art, music, science, metaphysics, and several religious disciplines; he is also an ardent reader of history.
