When he applies himself, Jude can achieve anything. His math teacher encourages him to excel academically, but he simply ignores her. If she really knew all the answers, she wouldn't be teaching math. His mother comes home late, can barely keep food on the table, and resorts to drinking. His closest friend (if you want to call her that), once a valuable social asset, has outlived her usefulness. As a high school senior, Jude has less than a year to leave his mark. So he devises the perfect plan which, whether or not it leaves a favorable impression, will ensure he is never forgotten. It's certainly one for the yearbooks, but if he fails at his own game, he'll have no one but himself to blame. Follow along as Jude plots in the classroom--and deceives in the bedroom--and maybe you'll agree that, in high school, obscurity is worse than being reviled.
