Of the many other people in Abby's life, only two seem to have Abby's well-being in mind. Walter, an old friend of her father's, whose intentions are sincere, tries to help when he can. And Sarah, an intern from Brooklyn Law School who becomes a valued confidant of Abby's, but who turns out to not be there for Abby when most needed.

Much of his passion for writing comes from his beloved mother, He is an accomplished attorney that graduated from New York Law School in 1988. His experiences as an attorney have inspired some of the most colorful characters in his books.
