The basis of the origin of Judo was clearly related ideologies of pedagogical domain. Jigoro Kano when devised his own teaching training method, presented as the main guideline to full training of human beings, in their ethical, moral, psychological, physical, physiological and naturally social and cultural dimensions. The authors of this book claim to continuity of sharing and dissemination of the educational value of Judo, trying in a modest way, through an elaborate study, some elements which demonstrate scientifically substantiate the elements of training recommended by Jigoro Kano. We sought to develop a theoretical context to substantiate the theoretical constructs of self-concept in its various constituent dimensions of self-esteem, as well as a construct so dependent but similarly so responsible in shaping the self-concept and self-esteem, which is the school performance. The essence of philosophy advocated by Jigoro Kano, sought to highlight elements that support and argue in today's society, all educational and training value of this sport (read: way of life) is so unique that the Judo.
