Kiran Millwood Hargrave is a British poet and novelist. She graduated with a degree in English literature, dramatic arts and teaching from the University of Cambridge and completed her Master's in creative writing at the University of Oxford in 2014. Her debut, The Girl of Ink and Stars has won the prestigious awards Waterstones Children's Book and the British Book of the Year and has become an international best seller.
