After 37 years as a public school teacher, Maryjo Paradis-Smith, decided to live her passion as an author. She hopes to convey the struggles of young people in America through her books. July in August is her first published work. As a mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend she is sure she will have a story that will resonate with all readers. Currently, Maryjo resides in Barrington, New Hampshire with her husband, Tom, and their two cats, Rico and Deigo.
