About the Author... Joe Woods, is an author of three books, "What's In A Tree," "The Next Step Leaders Edition," and "Chasing Peace," "Jumping the Stream." Each of these books challenges our human experiences mentally and spiritually. As a former college athlete and position coach, Joe has provided leadership services to individuals, teams and organizations for more than twenty years. Woods discovered the power of leadership and wisdom at a very young age. He has been involved in many leadership roles, ranging from team sports to business organizations, part ownership in numerus businesses. As a former high school and college athlete who excelled in basketball, baseball, football and track, he has had many opportunities to express leadership. While in College, he served as team captain and as a liaison with the fellowship of Christian athletes. Woods had the pleasure to participate in three bowl games while in college: The Gator Bowl, Peach Bowl, and Liberty Bowl. He was also a successful college football coach at Gardner-Web University. Woods helped develop many young and talented athletes. In his short tenure he developed two all-conference players in three years, and the coaches won "turn around staff of the year." He strived to not only develop himself but others through numerous entrepreneur business ventures and has held positions such as Manager, Interim Director of Training, as well as Regional Trainer. Educationally, Joe has a M.S. degree in Psychology and a M. ED degree in Educational Leadership of Organizations. His life's desire is to better understand his unconscious habits and how they have affected his life, so that he is able to help others live in each moment.
