Autorenporträt
Yrana Rachele Avery launched her literary career with a collection of artwork featuring outrageously silly rhymes, including such titles as Linda Pearl Kapudnashank, My Father Is a Pack Rat, Lenny Smith Sells Lemonade, My Turtle Wears a Girdle, and the complete series of the lovable Mr. Willis. Avery holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. She is the founder of the Knucklehead Academy-Tutoring for Those Who Didn't Get It the First Time, where she specializes in reading and writing. Avery is a studious homeschool mom to three kiddos by day and an unhinged wordsmith by night. Although born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, she lived the majority of her adult life in New York and California before moving to Tennessee with Sir Basil, her husband of twenty years, her three favorite knuckleheads Heaven, Eden, and Bishop, a bearded dragon, and two yappy dogs. Additionally, Avery is a huge fan of classic black-and-white films, the wonderfully peculiar world of Dr. Seuss, a good argument, and a good cup of coffee.
