Autorenporträt
Algernon currently resides in New York City, where he was born and raised. When he was only ten years old, Algernon penned his very first story entitled: "The Coin" which was a mystery thriller about a group of children that found a rare coin, and the troubles that followed them when word of their discovery got out.
Mysteries and suspense thrillers were his favorite genre growing up. As an adult, Algernon enjoys all genres - From fiction to self-help and personal development. After receiving a musical scholarship as a gifted jazz pianist, he went on to study music education. After obtaining his BA, Algernon went on to take creative writing classes and attended writing workshops conducted by award winning authors in New York City, Orlando FL and Los Angeles CA. Algernon has also written stage plays and screenplays as well as unpublished motivational books.
Stage & Screen Plays include: Road To The Potter's House - Special Delivery I & II - Reality Check - Pick Of The Litter. Algernon was arrested in FL and charged with first-degree murder for a crime he did not commit. After a trial, he was acquitted by the circuit county court and released. He struggled for several years after that incident in wanting to share his story, however it was a place far too painful to revisit. After years of writing classes and training, Algernon has finally written and released the novel "JUST ANOTHER INNOCENT LIFE" inspired by his own personal life story. As a Motivational Speaker, Algernon has spoken to audiences on a variety of inspirational topics. In his signature message "Make It 'Till You Make It" Algernon shares his remarkable and courageous journey from being homeless and sleeping on the streets of New York City, to working on major television/film productions and creating the life of his dreams.
