As a proud Chicago suburbanite, TempesttAisha prides herself on her free-spirited persona, that's just as "windy" as the city...which explains her 2016 decision to end her traditional Editorial career to be a Freelance Journalist. She is currently under contract as Copy Editor with two major healthcare and fitness corporations . Although she's solidified amazing long-term contracts, being a Freelance Journalist means that the work hardly ever ends. She is constantly searching for inspiration, motivation and ways to further cultivate her interest for merging her professional career with the creativity that her character exudes. So when she's off the clock, she helps college students format essays and outlines, edits a number of professional documents that range from personal statements to proposals, and TempesttAisha volunteers for non-profit organizations and manages social media outlets for small creative agencies. TempesttAisha greatly values education and children using their imagination as the first resource for fun rather than technology. Which is what inspired her to become a children's book author. She is extremely excited to introduce The Maddy Series starting with "Just Like Mommy", and hopes to spark the imaginations of children everywhere.
