It's 2000, and Australian cattle man, Alan "Fitzy" Fitzgerald, has cause to revisit the scene of the 1980 death of his best friend, young bush mechanic, Lennie Krause. Lennie's death followed closely on the failure of his relationship with worldly wise girlfriend, Marion Kent. While most suspected suicide, the coroner had delivered an open finding offering an additional possibility that the cause may have been a workplace accident. Amongst the young mechanic's dusty workshop, Fitzy encounters items that arouse his suspicions. Could both of the possible causes of death reported by Coroner be in error, could Marion have been the cause, or at least implicated in some way in the death? The cattleman's search to discover the truth takes him from outback Australia to the glitz of the Gold Coast and state capital Brisbane. Here his investigations lead him to Marion's ex-husband, Brian Jarrett, a man who has had his own issues with Marion in the past. Another man looking for answers. Marion has become a successful businesswoman and believes she has it all, but will she reap the rewards of her efforts, or pay a price for her past? Justice Denied is a tale of deception, manipulation, death, tenacity and honour. It is Australia's latest addition to the literary world's most popular new genre, "Outback Noir."
