This book examines the creation of the International Criminal Court (ICC) as well as the crimes that fall within its jurisdiction: genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. It equally addresses some issues of politics and justice of the court especially as the court has come under criticism of being bias in light of its prosecution activities which has mostly centered on African situations. The book concludes that the ICC is both politics and justice influenced in its fight against impunity and recommends a way forward in boosting the court's image.
