The monograph outlines the role of pre-sowing treatment of sowing cotton seeds, including seed dressing, analyzes methods of seed dressing and technical means for its implementation, as a result of theoretical research analytical dependencies for calculating the values of the distance of the tooth protrusion of the drum from the grate of the seed dispenser are obtained, the basic parameters of the developed dresser of downed cotton seeds are substantiated. By experimental researches it is proved that the developed stabilizer of hydraulic pressure provides more uniform supply of working suspension irrespective of quantity of suspension being in the flow tank. The results of production tests of the recommended dressing agent have shown that by all indicators dressed seeds meet the requirements of the existing standard for dressed seeds, the completeness of dressing is not less than 80-85%, the productivity of dressed seeds is not less than 4.0 t/hour, the consumption of working suspension of the dressing agent within 27.5 liters / t and the increase in mechanical damage of dressed seeds is not more than 1.0%.
