Author Mohibullah Zegham was born on February 2, 1973 in Kabul, Afghanistan. He is a physician, writer, translator, and essayist. He has 14 published works including 3 novels, 2 collections of short story, 3 children's novels, 5 short stories for children, and a travelogue. Kabay and Monok won the first prize of children literature in Afghanistan, 2018. Mohib's two works published in English are: "The Tiger" a very short story was published in Flash Fiction International, 2015 and "The Bound Man" was published in the Seoul International Writers' Festival Anthology The Forgotten and the Unforgotten - Table, 2016. Mohib is currently working as a senior subject specialist with the Curriculum Development Department of Ministry of Education, Afghanistan.
