Autorenporträt
Sucheta Mishra (born 1965) is an award-winning poet, a novelist, a short-story writer, and a translator. She has published eight poetry collections, two novels, one short story collection and a collections of essays in Odia. Some of her notable poetry collections are Purbaraga, Uttarapaksha, Pratighata and Ajanma. She has translated the novels of Punjabi writer Dalip Kaur Tiwana, and the poetry collection of Hindi poet Ramesh Chandra Saha into Odia. Her awards include Odisha Sahitya Akademy Award (for Ajanma), Gangadhar Rath Foundation Award, Bhubaneswar Book Fair Award and Kadambini award. Currently she teaches at Convent School, Puri, India.
