Dr. Rasheed Mosavi (Born: 9-June 1935) is a prominent researcher and writer of Hyderabad. She received her Ph.D degree by writing a thesis on the topic of "Deccan mein Marsiya aur Azadari". Along with criticism and research, she has also made a breakthrough in the field of humor. According to Mujtaba Hussain, the name of Rasheed Mosavi comes first among the women who started writing humor in the beginning of Zinda Dilan-e-Hyderabad (sixth decade of the twentieth century).
