Peter Frickel searches for the truth, the difference that lies between imagination and reality. He is an economist, graduate of the University of Natal, South Africa, past trader on the London Stock Exchange, a writer and an international traveler. For two years, he walked the length and breadth of Africa, traveled its great rivers and deserts. His footprints can be found in the Middle East and across Europe. He was born into a medical family in South Africa, is multilingual, has been written about in newspapers and magazines across Africa, interviewed on radio and television in many parts of the world.
