Without ever really having the intention to write and publish a book, writing has been my passion and big part of not just my life, but myself. It took me a really long time to understand and see myself as a writer. What does it take to be a writer? A poet? What makes you an artist? Once you published and sold books? Once youre accepted in the literature world? Or does it simply need someone who loves to write and does so every day, someone who uses writing as a tool of reflection, as one of the truest forms of expressing themselves. Once I realized I do all of those things and it simply comes down to a feeling and a connection I feel to writing, I allowed myself to grow into that part of myself. I am a writer. I am a writer because I love it and do it as often as possible. Its part of me and Im part of my writing.
