Chapter four presents the studiescarried out on the synthesis and characterization ofthree different zeolitic materials using AhokoNigerian kaolin (ANK). The second part of thisresearch on the development of zeolite membrane fromANK is presented in chapter five. This chapterpresents all the methods used in the preparation ofzeolite membranes using ANK as a precursor as well asthe results obtained. The testing of the performanceof zeolite membranes developed in terms of coherence,defects and separation performance is also presentedin this chapter. The book therefore provide theprocesses of raw kaolin transformation into zeolitesand zeolite membranes and will be very useful tozeolite technologist and potential entreprenuers
