The objective of this prospective cross-sectional survey was to assess the knowledge, attitude and practiceof community pharmacists towards cognitive pharmaceutical care services in India. The self-administered survey questionnaire contained a total of 20 questions out of which, couplesof questions were to assess the knowledge and 9 questions each for assessing the attitude and perception ofthe community pharmacists. The questionnaire was validated for the reliability and validity through a pilotsurvey conducted with 20 respondents prior to the full-fledged survey.

Dr. M. Deepalakshmi. graduated in Pharmacy in 1997 from Periyar College of Pharmaceutical Sciences for Girls, Trichy. She entered into teaching career in the same year after a short termtraining in M/s. Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Bengaluru. She completed her M. Pharmacy course in Pharmacy Practice specialization at JSS College.
