Colleen has always had a heart for children, which only strengthened through her time as a pediatric hospice nurse. While starting a donation-based program for her local school system, offering hygiene items for free, she found a love for giving back to the children living in poverty, similar to her younger self. Whether coaching cheerleading or collecting donations for different causes, Colleen has found many ways to give back. However, it wasn't until her 30's she decided to shake things up and start writing. In her novels, Karma One and Karma Two, Colleen works to bring light onto some very dark topics; from the entitlement and misuse of power by the elite, to the misfortune and despair of the nation's most vulnerable, children. After her first two novels Colleen set out on her self-publishing journey. Before long Colleen was writing, illustrating, and now publishing. Opening her publishing company in 2024, Colleen has worked very hard to get her latest work out to the public. Colleen's Bereavement Line For Children, is a line of books for a child who is losing or has lost a loved one, they themselves are terminally diagnosed, or they are losing one of the beloved pets in the series. With the hope of helping so many more children in the future Colleen continues to match toward her goals daily.
