Karmic Debris presents the writings of two unique American artists who rose out of the 1960's - 70's. Both were part of a migration of poets, writers, musicians, adventurers, spiritual seekers, social radicals who spread across the country and the world, becoming contributors to a pivotal era of change. They were nomads searching for answers, freedom and wisdom, striving for new means of expression. They moved from place to place... not looking for homes, but for inspiration. There is also a love story embedded in their words, about a complex relationship filled with the passion of two artists. Piya Italia and Franke Wednesday were Avant performers, musicians, as well as writers, exploring the boundaries as creative revolutionaries. These surviving writings are full of the idealism, doubt, and experimentation of a unique era... now long past... but still holding a powerful influence and sway over many. Karmic Debris is edited by Peter D. Genovese, author of the novel Immortal Memories in Lost utk'Irtana, as well as one of the authors of Karmic Debris.
Autorenporträt
Peter Genovese is an independent writer with a passion for the past and ancient cultures. He is driven to write books he can't seem to find anywhere else. Immortal Memories: In Lost utk'Irtana is his first. His home is in upstate New York's Lake country, but he has traveled and worked in numerous countries less visited. When he writes there is often a kind of hypnotic traditional music playing, slow Veena ragas or melodies on the Duduk. His careers as a musician, shortstop, academic library director, and global consultant come into play, fueled by his restless intellect and creative energy. Peter Genovese offers a new voice and vision to the world of fiction.
