The Kavi Subhash Metro Station, formerly New Garia Metro Station, is the southern terminal station of the North-South corridor of Kolkata Metro. It has been named after poet Subhash Mukhopadhyay. This station was thrown open to public on the auspicious day of Mahalaya in the year of 2010. This metro station which is at ground level is located near Garia Railway station. Currently it is the southern terminal of the North South Corridor of Kolkata Metro. In the long run it will become the southernmost terminal of the Jai Hind - Kavi Subhash corridor of the Kolkata Metro.
