Prof. Ms. Mangal Gogte has been teaching Economics in a college in Mumbai University for more than four decades. She has written many papers for national and international conferences and has travelled world wide. She has travelled twice on scholarships from UGC, Delhi to Finland and Mongolia, for a month each. Has taught in the University of Vaasa, Finland as visiting professor. After retirement she has taken to her childhood passion Painting (watercolours, acrylic and oil) and has had exhibitions held in Mumbai. Writing columns is her passion too and has been writing in daily newspapers, weeklys and magazines for more than 30 years. Also she is nominated to the Road Safety Advisory Committee, Mumbai Traffic Police, as a member for more than three decades. She has worked a Director International Relations for Somaiya Vidyavihar (campus), Mumbai.
