Professor na Escola Superior de Ciências Sociais e Humanas, Universidade Internacional de Astana. É o autor de aproximadamente 100 artigos em russo, turco e inglês. Os seus interesses de investigação estão relacionados com a geopolítica da Federação Russa na Ásia Central no período pós-soviético.
