Autorenporträt
Terrence is an educator originally from Buffalo, New York, and a native of Gwinnett County, Georgia, who also goes by his Keaka (or shadow) name: Coach T. The 'T' is for transformation, as his innovative educational brand represents the best of both worlds- spirit of youth and nostalgia of pop culture. The joy of recreation is a 're-creation' of mind, body and spirit starting with self discovery, which Coach T strives to bring to every interaction. His work and experience range from youth mentor and musical tour consultant to K-12 school teacher and youth basketball coach; and NOW, author! Coach T leverages his reverence of Hip Hop music and culture with his love for basketball, to teach children, teens, and young adults through humor, symbolism, and physical movement. Storytelling is Coach T's life's work. After facing his keaka 14,000 feet in the air skydiving, he began work on his first book, focusing on the significance of fear. Coach T has given leadership lectures at Kennesaw State University, Texas A&M University, and the University of Alabama and is currently pursuing his Masters's degree in Education at the University of Georgia.https: //keakabook.com
