Melissa Su'a is a mother of three and the CEO of Su'a Films, where she leads the creative and strategic direction of the company, overseeing the development and production of film and television projects aimed at bringing culturally diverse stories to the forefront of the entertainment industry. With a hands-on approach to screenwriting, Melissa contributes to shaping meaningful narratives that amplify underrepresented voices. Inspired by her daughter Eliana's success as an actress in the industry, she teamed up with her husband Justin and daughter Eliana to bring these stories to life. Sua Films is currently developing several exciting projects, including a Samoan feature film, a book-to-series adaptation of a Pasifika story, and a feature based on the true story of a young Māori woman. Keep Believing: The Samoan Legend of The Turtle and The Shark is the release of Melissa's second children's book. Her mission is to promote underrepresented voices and foster diversity in storytelling.
