Olivia Snaije: Olivia Snaije is the books editor for Harper's Bazaar Art and a reporter for Beirut's Daily Star. She was formerly Executive Editor at Alef, a London-based magazine covering Middle Eastern culture, and Editor-in-Chief of World Media in Paris. Mitchell Albert: Mitchell Albert was the Programme Director of Writers' Centre Norwich, a UK literary development agency with an international remit, and the former Editorial Director of PEN International. He is currently Associate Editor of Steppe, a magazine of Central Asian arts and culture. Raja Shehadeh: Raja Shehadeh is one of Palestine's leading writers. He is also a lawyer and the founder of the pioneering Palestinian human rights organisation Al-Haq. He is the author of 'Strangers in the House' and 'A Rift in Time', and winner of the 2008 Orwell Prize for 'Palestinian Walks'.

Zabludowicz Collection and the Musée Nicéphore Niépce (Chalon-sur-Saône),
where she was an artist in- residence in 2005.
Raeda Saadeh has participated in shows in Europe, the Middle East and the
US. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert
Museum and the Fonds Régional d'Art Contemporain de Lorraine (Metz). She
lives and works in Jerusalem.
Steve Sabella studied photography and visual arts in Jerusalem, the US and
the UK. He has exhibited internationally and his work can be found in the
collections of the British Museum and the Arab Museum of Modern Art (Doha).
Kai Wiedenhöfer is the recipient of numerous awards. His published work
includes Perfect Peace, detailing Palestinian life between the two
intifadas, Wall and The Book of Destruction, which documents the last war
in Gaza.

Yael Lerer was born in Tel Aviv and is the founder of Andalus Publishing,
an independent publishing house dedicated to the translation of Arabic
literature into Hebrew. She is a co-founder of the Tajamu'-Balad (National
Democratic Alliance) Party, and was a former Member of Knesset.
Christine Leuenberger is a sociologist and Senior Lecturer at Cornell
University, in the US. A Fulbright Scholar in Israel and the Palestinian
Territories in 2008 and a Fulbright Specialist at Tel Aviv University in
2011, she is a recipient of a National Science Foundation Scholar's award
to investigate the history and sociology of mapping practices in Israel and
the Palestinian Territories.
Adania Shibli was born in Palestine in 1974 and lives between Ramallah and
Berlin. She has published two novels and many short stories as well as
narrative and art essays, and has twice won the Qattan Young Writer's
Award-Palestine. She also edited Dispositions (2012), a study of the work
of several Palestinian artists. In 2009 she obtained her PhD in media and
cultural studies from the University of East London, and has lectured in
the UK and at Birzeit University, Palestine.
