With so many unreal and unfulfilling circumstances in our lives today, the spiritual nourishment found on the pages of "Keeping It Real: The Straight and Narrow" are more than encouraging. There are certainly hindrances and temptations along life's journey. This story gives assurance that by believing in Jesus and following the message of Scripture, there is a definite reward for those who choose to press on. To keep on the straight path - which is REAL - the author expresses the message through personal experiences, scriptures, hymns, and poetry - all of which point to her deep, personal walk with Jesus Christ. Her openness (coupled with honesty) are clearly evident, as well as her goal to inspire and make a positive impact in the lives of others. Questions presented are meant to cause personal evaluation of oneself to aid in keeping on the 'Straight and Narrow' as your personal journey unfolds.

Autorenporträt
Marlowe R. Scott is a country girl born in the South New Jersey town of Cedarville. She is blessed with many God-given talents, to include in part: writing, poetry, quilting, and floral-designing. In her own words, she is a "people-person." Her personality helps brighten the days of many who know her, as they enjoy not only her talents, but words of wisdom. A favorite theme for her life is the Serenity Prayer she discovered on the wall of a country store when she was only 16 years old. It reads, "God, grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change, the COURAGE to change the things I can, and the WISDOM to know the difference."
