Embark on the greatest American adventure ever told! 'Kelolo was a honu, a Hawaiian green sea turtle, . . . on a marvelous journey that none in this world would ever forget!' Kelolo mistakenly leaves his home in Hawaii for the very first time in his life. He wakes up freezing and lost in an unknown, faraway land! Kelolo battles his fear and homesickness by finding friends and discovering his true love of new places, as he navigates a wave of experience and adventure! But how will Kelolo ever find his way back home to Hawaii? Joey Walker weaves a spellbinding tale that carries a child, or former child, across the globe with Kelolo from Hawaii to Alaska where newfound, diverse animal friends learn they must lean on each other to fix the wonderful messes they get themselves into. Friendship versus fear. New places versus homesickness. Sharing, caring, and helping each other are at the core of Kelolo's Cruise, as the misadventures of Kelolo transform this simple honu into every child's hero!
