Lou and His Mane is Emma Ugarelli's first book. She worked for fifteen years as a psychologist in Lima, Peru, and eighteen years as an early childhood educator in Canada. She enjoys creating activities and stories to share with her children. Emma currently lives in Kitsilano, Vancouver, with her family and cat Ricky.
